Xanadu Auditions will take place on Wednesday, May 24 from 7-9 pm.
The deadline to register for stage crew is by 5 pm on Thursday, May 25th.
Callbacks will be Thursday, May 25 at 6:00 pm.
For those auditioning, please prepare the appropriate excerpt below. We have attached a printable version and a recording (in the correct key) to assist your preparation.
The cast size for this show is unknown at this time. The decision will be difficult and we hope that everyone respects our choices. It will be expected that no one creates any drama or troubles based on the casting and crew assignments. We are looking for a certain mix of cast chemistry and this might result in a atypical cast list.
All rehearsal dates and times can be found on the rehearsal calendar below. We do consider all conflicts when making casting decisions.
Camp is Monday-Fridays, from 9-5 pm. We ask that nothing be scheduled during this time but we will be allowing conflicts if needed.
Cast - $175
Crew - $100
Strike is also required for ALL cast and crew (please don't plan any family events for the last performance day)
We will be asking for help with show prep and the show's run; i.e. set construction (it's BIG!), costumes, concessions, ticket sellers, etc. More information will be released shortly after the company list is made.
Cell phone usage will not be tolerated during rehearsals or performances. If a student is caught using their cell (including texting) during a rehearsal or performance, the phone will be confiscated and returned to them at the end. The only exception is in an emergency and needing to contact a parent.
The main goal of Tartan Theatre is to produce quality theatre and give everyone a chance to perform and have FUN!!!!!
